Categories
Here you’ll find a list & short description of the categories used in the blog:
Ego and a Little Id
Ego & Id will house all the subcategories about me & my life specifically.
Life 1.0
As I began blogging about Life 2.0 I found myself thinking of things to blog about in my day-to-day life that didn’t pertain to the upcoming craziness. Everything that occurs while I’m still a haplessly employed citizen of San Antonio, TX will be part of “Life 1.0″ unless it make more sense elsewhere.
Life 2.0
This the category that started it all! =) In fact, I originally planned on simply calling my blog “Life 2.0″. This category is all about the adventures that will take place as I quit my job, sell my house, and relocate to some yet-to-be named place.
Meta-Blog
I noticed that as I started blogging there were thoughts about blogging that I thought were worth blogging so I created “Meta-Blog” to blog about the whole blogging thing.
Plugged In
“Plugged In” is all about technology:
Jumps
Here you’ll find links that I think are worth sharing, or possibly thinks I don’t think are worth sharing but I want to waste your time. Either way, this is where they go.
Tech U
I thought I as being cute when I named this one. This is “Technology University.” Expect posts that will educate you in some way, shape, or form with regards to the world of tecnhology.
The White Board
I love white boards. I do. They’re great because you can write whatever the hell you feel like and then erase it immediately or let it sit there awhile. A white board is good for just about anything, and that’s what “The White Board” category is: a spot for general posts about tech, toys, gadgets, etc.
Segways and Stratagems
Because I’m full of nonsense more than anything else, “Seg & Strat” is kinda anything I want it to be. I can do that, because it’s my blog you know.
Cogitation Medley
Not everything fits in a category. This is where ragged, homeless posts go when they can’t fit in anywhere else.
Fortune cookie
I think we can all agree that life would be better if fortune cookies had some actual sway over the events therein. This category is devoted to the most mythical of after-lunch treats. A cookie that not only provides a bit of sweetness, but also foretells the upcoming events of our lives all the while combating the evil side effects of MSG.
Piffle
The Free Dictionary defines piffle as “Foolish or futile talk or ideas; nonsense.” I think that about covers it.
